¡Qué

Tal!

My name is Alexis Soto

I am a Mexican-American designer, musician and activist. I carry with me a rich background of cultural exchange between Mexico and the United States after living in South San Diego for over 15 years. Originally from the state of Michoacán, I spent my early childhood in Tijuana and eventually moved to San Diego at the age of 7. After assimilating to the city and a few years later, I realized I was living in an underrepresented community where the reality of my day to day life differed vastly from others. I want what's best for the community and in my opinion what's best for the community translates to what's best for us all.

Design came into my life in my late teens after gaining a deep interest in UX design. To me that seemed like the perfect field to serve as a mediator between users and a company (or government agency). Here are a few of my main guiding principles.
