For this project I designed covers, and feature articles for a magazine centered around drumming. My goal was to differentiate myself from the few English magazines for drummers which are mostly designed in a typical traditional layout resembling celebrity gossip magazines.

To find an identity for the magazine brand, I took the time to research and borrow elements of contemporary magazines that are more expressive with text rather than having a clutter of text.
Playing around with the layout of the typography and images to stay away from a soulless design.
